Objectives
The Download Station is a web interface that allows you to use HTTP and FTP to download files directly to the NSS independent of a PC.

This document applies to all NSS 300 Series Smart Storage Devices.

Enabling Web Server
Step 1. In the NAS GUI Management Tool, choose Network Services > Web Server.
Step 2. Check Enable Web Server.
Step 3. (Optional) Check Enable Secure Connection (SSL) if you wish to utilize an HTTPS secure connection.
Step 4. Click Apply.
Enabling Download Station
Step 1. In the NAS GUI Management Tool choose Application Servers > Download Station.
Step 2. Check the Enable Download Station option.
Step 3. Click Apply.
Note: You can verify that the Download Station was enabled by clicking Download Station in the Application drop-down menu at the top-right of the screen. You will be directed to the Download Station page.

Accessing the Download Station
Via Smart Storage NAS login window:
Step 1. From the NAS login window select Download Station in the Application drop-down menu.
Step 2. Enter the administrator username and password for the NAS device.
Step 3. Click Login.
Via NAS Administration Web GUI window:
Step 1. Click the Application drop-down menu in the top right of the screen.
Step 2. Select Download Station.
