Steps of Procedure
Step 1. At the web interface of the device, check the software version of the device.
Step 2. Check for the latest version available on www.cisco.com or click here. Download the latest version to upgrade.
Step 3. From the downloaded folder, double click the upg-spa2102-version number.
Note: In this article we will be using the version 5.2.12 so the file name is upg-spa-5-2-12.
Step 4. Click continue to initialize the upgrade process.
Step 5. Enter the IP address of the device to connect to the device and the IP address of the device it is connected to from the drop down menu.
Step 6. Click Ok .
Step 7. Check for the version and click Upgrade to confirm.
Note: Do not unplug the power to the device. Wait until a successful prompt pops up.
Step 8. Click OK to finish the upgrade process.
