Guide Me is not a live chat. Guide Me is a virtual agent designed to provide quick and effective support based on your questions. Guide Me finds support articles and solutions based on keywords or phrases that you use in your questions.
There is no wrong way to use Guide Me. You can ask Guide Me a question, enter a few keywords, or just enter a single keyword and browse around. There are, however, a few best practices which can be followed for best results:
• Provide a model name — Guide Me sorts results based on model name. For the most accurate results, enter the model name of the device with which you are working. If you aren't getting any results, check if the model is currently supported in the table at the end of this article.
• Use the Reset button for new, unrelated queries — Sometimes, previous responses to Guide Me's questions can effect future results. To ensure the most accurate results, use the Reset button whenever starting a new search.
• Keep it simple — To avoid unrelated answers, stick to common keywords and phrases related to the technology or issue you are dealing with such as "VPN", "Troubleshoot", "WAN", etc.
• Use the drill-down to browse — If you are having trouble finding a certain topic, you might try searching with just the model name. From there, you can use Guide Me's built in drill-down system to find your specific issue.
Guide Me supports Cisco small business devices. A list of small business devices currently supported can be found at the end of this article. Guide Me does not support Cisco Enterprise or Consumer level devices.
For Enterprise support, start at Cisco's main support website:

If you'd like to leave feedback or see your device or specific issue supported on Guide Me, please feel free to leave feedback using the feedback bar at the top of this page. We appreciate any additional comments or suggestions you may have.
