This example shows you how to create a show/hide container using a couple of links, a div, a few lines of CSS, and some JavaScript to manipulate our CSS. Step 1. Use the web configuration utility to choose Cisco ProtectLink Web > Global Settings > Approved URLs.
Step 2. To the right of Approved URLs List, check the Enable checkbox to allow approved URLs on the network.
Step 3. Click Save to save changes or Cancel to discard them.
Add or Edit Approved URLs
This procedure shows how to add and edit approved URLs. This action is helpful because not all URLs need to be inspected each time a user visits them.
Step 1. In the Approved URLs Table, click Add to add a new approved URL, check the checkbox of an existing URL and click Edit to edit the URL.
Note: A new page appears.
Step 2. In the URL field, enter the entire URL, such as www.cisco.com, or a URL keyword, such as cisco.
Step 3. From the Match Type drop-down menu, choose an option.
• Web site — Choose this option if you enter an entire URL.
• URL keyword — Choose this option if you enter an URL keyword.
Step 4. Click Save to save changes, Cancel to discard them, or Back to return to the previous page.
Delete Approved URLs
This procedure allows the user to delete an approved URLs. This action increases the security of a network because the Cisco ProtectLink Web inspects more websites.
Step 1. In the Approved URLs Table, check the checkbox of an existing URL and click Delete to delete the URL.
