The IP settings are used to configure the IP versions available on the device. The IPv4 and IPv6 settings allows the user to choose whether the device dynamically receives an IP address through DHCP or statically receives an IP address defined by the user. DHCP makes setting up the camera very easy. Static IP address configuration allows for consistent external access and more management flexibility.
This article explains how configure the IP address settings on the C20 TelePresence System.

IP Settings
Step 1. Press the Home button to wake the device from idle state.
Step 2. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose Settings and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 3. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose Administrator Settings and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 4. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IP setings and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
IPv4 Configuration
Step 1. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IP version and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 2. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IPv4 and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm.
Step 3. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose Configure and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 4. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IP assignment and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 5. Use the up and down navigation keys to choosedesired IP assignment and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm. The available options are:
• DHCP — Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) automatically requests an IP Address from a DHCP server. The C20 could receive a different address each time it connects to the internet.
• Static — It is used to manually define the IP address for the C20 device.
Note: If DHCP is chosen as the IP assignment then skip to Step 9.
Step 6. If Static is chosen as the IP assignment, use the up and down navigation keys to enter the IP address in the IP Address field and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 7. Use the up and down navigation keys to enter the subnet mask in the Subnet Mask field and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 8. Use the up and down navigation keys to enter the gateway address in the Gateway field and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 9. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose OK and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm the settings.
IPv6 Configuration
Step 1. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IP version and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 2. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IPv6 and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm.
Step 3. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose Configure and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 4. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose IP assignment and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 5. Use the up and down navigation keys to choosedesired IP assignment and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm. The available options are:
• Autoconf — It is used to automatically configure the IP address for the device. The C20 could receive a different address each time it connects to the Internet.
• Static — It is used to manually define the IP address for the C20 device.
Step 6. Use the up and down navigation keys to chooseDHCP options and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 7. Use the up and down navigation keys to enable or disable DHCP options on the IPv6 version and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm. The available options are On and Off.
Note: If Autoconf is chosen as the IP assignment, then skip to Step 10.
Step 8. Use the up and down navigation keys to enter the IP address in the IP Address field and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 9. Use the up and down navigation keys to enter the gateway address in the Gateway field and press the Select button on the C20 to continue.
Step 10. Use the up and down navigation keys to choose OK and press the Select button on the C20 to confirm the settings.
