If you want to install Cisco Jabber Video but already have a different version of Jabber Video on your computer, you need to uninstall the previous version before you install the new one. Follow the steps for your operating system to uninstall Jabber Video.
Windows
- Click Start > Control Panel.
- Click Programs and Features (Windows 7 or Vista) or Add/Remove Programs (earlier versions).
- Highlight Cisco Jabber Video in the list of applications.
- Click Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions.
Mac
First, delete the Jabber Video application as follows:
- Quit Jabber Video.
- Go to the Applications folder and highlight Jabber Video.
- Right-click Jabber Video and select Show Package Content.
- In the pop-up window, delete the Contents folder by selecting Move to Trash.
- Delete Jabber Video by selecting Move to Trash.
Next, delete the com.cisco.JabberVideo.plist.
- Go to your user folder.
- Select Library > Preferences.
- Delete com.cisco.JabberVideo.plist by selecting Move to Trash.
