Launching the Web Based Configuration Utility on PVC2300
Objective
A Web-Based Utility is a Web server software which is built into the hardware. All network devices have embedded Web servers (HTTP servers), which provide control panel for configuring the devices. The biggest advantage is that vendors only have to write one program based on the Internet standards, and their control panel utility is accessible from any Web browser on any hardware platform.
This article explains how to launch the Web Based Configuration Utility on PVC2300.

Step by Step Procedure
Step 1. Launch your web browser, such as Internet Explorer.
Step 2. In the Address field, enter 192.168.1.99 and press Enter. The web-based utility login window appears.
Note: If you used the Setup Wizard to configure the IP address, use that same IP address in this step.
Step 3. If this is your first time accessing the web-based utility, follow these steps at the login window:
