Monitor Incoming Mail Server through Cisco OnPlus Portal

Objective

The incoming mail server is one of the mail servers which is responsible to receive electronic messages and send them to the appropriate recipient. You need to monitor the incoming mail server through Cisco OnPlus Portal to ensure the connection between your device and the mail server works properly. Also you can view the latency required to generate critical and warning events and the port number through which you monitor the incoming mail server. There are two types of incoming mail servers. One is the Post Office Protocol Version 3 (POP3) which stores a copy of all the sent and received messages on the hard drive of the PC. The other is the Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) which stores a copy of all the sent and received messages on the server itself.

This article explains how to monitor the incoming mail server through the Cisco OnPlus Portal.
