Reset WAP200 and WAP200E to Factory Defaults Manually
Objectives
Resetting a device is done in order to set all the configurations to their default values. The objective of this document is to reset the access points WAP200 or WAP200E without entering the web-based utility.
Applicable Devices
• WAP200 Wireless-G Access Point
• WAP200E Wireless-G Access Point
Step-by-Step Procedure
Note: The resetting of an access point will erase all the set configurations and restore them to their factory default values. Follow the steps to reset the access point without using the web-based utility.
Step 1. Ensure the device is powered on.
Step 2. Hold the reset button located on the back panel of the device for ten seconds. Once the device is reset, the LEDs glow green and the device can be used with its default settings.
