Save the Configuration File on Cisco Virus and Spam Blocker
Objective
All configuration settings within the blocker can be saved in a single configuration file. The XML format configuration file can preserve crucial configuration data so that the user can backup the configuration and roll back the settings if there is any problem. This article explains how to save the configuration file on Cisco virus and spam blocker.

Save the Configuration File
Step 1. Use the web configuration utility to choose System Administration > Configuration File.
Step 2. At the Configuration File field, click Download file to local computer to view or save.
Step 4. Uncheck Mask passwords in the Configuration Files as files with masked passwords cannot be loaded back using Load Configuration.
Step 5. Click Submit. The File Download window appears.
Step 6. Click Save to save the configuration file to the local computer.
