Setup Access Point Mode on WAP4400N Series Wireless-N Access Point

Objective

Access Point (AP) mode allows wireless devices to connect to the wired networks.

This document explains how to set up AP mode on a WAP4400 series wireless router.

Step-by-Step Procedures

Set up the AP mode on WAP4400 router.

Step 1. Using the graphical user interface of the WAP4400 wireless router, choose AP Mode > AP Mode.

Step 2. Select Access point to let the device operates as a normal access point.

Step 3. Check Allow Wireless Signal to be repeated by a repeater to allow the device to act as a repeater for another access point.

Step 4. In the MAC 1, MAC 2 and MAC 3 fields enter appropriate MAC addresses of other access points as required.

Step 5. Click Save to save the AP mode settings.
