Note: The Cisco TelePresence System Codec C-Series and the Profile Series with C40 Codec endpoints can use either the TRC5 remote control or the touch pad device for user input, but they cannot use both devices at the same time.

End a call or place a call in standby mode | Press the End Call or Standby button to reject an incoming call, end an ongoing call, or go in to standby mode (when idle). |
Remove incorrect entries | Press the C button. Characters to the left of the current cursor position are deleted. |
Switch the microphone on and off | Press the Microphone button (displays a microphone icon). |
Show or hide a presentation | Press the Presentation button (displays a computer icon). |
Adjust volume settings | Press the Volume button (displays + and - to increase and decrease volume). |
Zoom the camera in and out | Press + or – on the Zoom button. |
Display the layout menu | Press the Layout button and select a view in the menu. |
Display shortcuts and advanced features | Use the Function keys, which appear in the upper part of the remote control. Each key corresponds to a softkey on the screen. |
