This document explains how to configure the advanced configurations settings on the SA520W Security Appliance.

Step-by-Step Procedure
Profile Advanced Configuration
Step 1. Use the Security Configuration Utility to choose Wireless > Profiles.
Step 2. Choose the Profile name that you would like to configure and click the button in the Adv Config column
Step 3. Enter a Group Key Refresh Interval time in seconds in the group key refresh interval field.
• Group Key Refresh Interval— the amount of time before the generated keys are deactivated, only applicable for WPA or WPA2 security.
Step 4. Enter a PMKSA Life Time in seconds in the PMKSA life time field.
• PMKSA Life Time— PMKSA is the amount of time that the master keys will be stored in the access points. Makes it so the user does not have to authenticate each time. Only applicable with WPA2 Security.
Step 5. Enter a 802.1X Re-authentication Interval in seconds field.
• 802.1x Re-authentication Interval— The amount of time before a re-authentication is needed with the access point and the RADIUS server.
Step 9. Click Apply to save the configuration settings.
