Hello everyone,
I have a question, does the SG300-28 support VTP and STP?. I want to add it to my network's VTP domain so I don't have to manage vlans manually on the SG300-28 and also be able to configure STP to keep my network loop free.
Thanks.

VTP = no. You must manually create and manage all of your VLANs. However, you should look into GVRP, which is a VTP replacement.
STP = Yes, but there are different STPs. The SF 300 supports 802.1d "old" SPT, .w "RSTP", and "MST".
You should look up the specifications.
If you are using any variety of PVST, you may have issues. Beware.

Thank you for your help.
I have another question, the SG300-28 is connected to a Catalyst 2960 switch
and I would like to know if GVRP is compatible with the VTP on the Catalyst
2960? Or does GVRP has to be configured on the whole network for it to work?
