VTP on SG300-28

We bought an SG300-28. I read (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps10898/qa_c67-618260.html), that on the SG300-28 is working with Catalyst. The feature VTP called on the SG300 GVRP. I activated this features, but it don't working with the Catalyst 2960. Could you now why? What I do wrong?

Hi Thomas, GVRP and VTP are 2 different things. The small business products do not support VTP and GVRP does not interoperate with VTP.

Sadly GVRP is close to, if not one of the least used protocols basically because it requires more configuration to set it up than it does to just make the trunks yourself.
