Is there any official announcement for this function?

Thanks

Hi Cristan,

Customer site information is now subjected to a Site Verification algorithm that validates the data belongs to the entitled company requesting the report. Following are some of the common reasons that  could lead to “Site Verification Required"  for certain contracts associated with some devices:

  •  If the site information for the device does not match the customer and contract databases, then to protect customer data, sensitive site-related fields – such as install-atbill-to, and ship-to information – are labeled as “Site Verification Required”.
  • There are a variety of transactions which may impact the validated match of site information. – The most likely reason is that the address on a contract may not have been added to your official Cisco Customer Record.   In this case, the site information will be hidden until the site is added to the official master data Customer Record.

Customers should open a Service Request if they need the site information to be verified and updated in their records. Note that customers can continue to leverage the portal reports to look up service coverage number and status for those devices, including start and end dates."

Thanks,

Jawaid.
