we currently have that issue with our Cisco Collector where you can’t login through the WebGui anymore on the collector server (broken password issue).
It is a known issue with the collector, we are wondering if there is a work around to avert wiping the VM server and re-installing it from scratch ?

please clarify what is broken you get an error message can you Please share a screenshot?

we tried entering the Web Gui “admin” password, says its wrong, so we click on “forgot password” and takes you to the “security questions” page, answered 3 x security questions that we have and says wrong as well,
Is there a way to get around this ?, if not I guess we will have to do a wipe and re-install.

Unfortunately there is not an official way from CLI to recover or reset passwords without those security elements and likely a redeployment will be necessary. Please send me END customer name in a private message
