Hey Everyone,
Have a newly deployed collector in the environment (v2.7), I have completed the network discovery, and it it appears the collector isn't recording any of the serial numbers. I've verified the device access, and that show's as successful. Check out the screen shots:
Here is the Device verification, showing that it is able to access it via SNMP, and with the SSH credentials. Both Successful.
Device Verification
Here is the Manages Devices output. Each line item, is the same device, but representing a different Layer 3 interface (a router in the case). It's able to poll the hostname correctly, but as you see, no serial numbers is recorded.
Managed Device Output
Has any experienced this before? Is this a known issue?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
It is showing expected result but when you have successful upload to SNTC portal, it will show SN.
Addition to that, if you want to enable the serial number field, can you please see if after this is enabled and rerunning a discovery if you're able to view the serial numbers in the report?
Settings -> Discovery Settings -> Serial Number Duplicate Check -> Yes
Thanks,
Supriya

Yeah, I just found some other posts mentioning the same thing, just as I submitted this question.
Thanks again for the help!
Thanks,
Mike
