Underlay of SDA

Hi Experts,

I am new in SDA and I am wondering if I can still do the following for the underlay,

1. I can still have 2x Border Node or 2x Control Node for redundancy purposes?

2. Can I still deploy it in stackwise mode if my nodes are Catalyst?

3. If my Control Node is an ISR router, can I still do HSRP/VRRP?

4. Or it doesn't matter anymore in SDA if I use stacking, HSRP, or VRRP as my redundancy protocols?

what is the use case here - answer is YES / NO depends on use case - above guide can give you some guide lines.

Hi @balaji.bandi , I cannot locate any reference about my concern. I just wanted to know if in SDA, having my switches in stackwise or having my routers in FHRP protocols is still relevant to achieve identical LISP table, routing table, or endpoint table? thanks

1. yes

2. Stackwise is supported wherever u want. SWVL - with some limitations (pardon me, i dont remeber - but u always can search)

3. what is the reason for u to have any kind of NHRP on the CP nodes?

4. SDA Underlay is routed network similar to IP CLOS . What would be purpose of NHRP in such a network?
