I have Cisco UCS (6 blades - all boot from SAN) connected to NetApp Storage FC Mode thorugh MDS 9000 SAN Switch
Everything works smoothly, but I recently decided to use Blade 6 for testing purposes without touching the current LUN intended for the boot blade so I turned off the LUN from NetAPP and created a new LUN and assigned to same
initiator , but I had a problem that the Boot was not working on well (I can see it & install the OS but not booting)
anyhow,, I suspect that the problem from MDS.. flogi/fcns database cache seems it need to be updated/refresh my question is there a way to update/clear/refresh flogi / fcns database on MDS?
without reconfigure the member of the zone, like no member and bla bla ....
