Jumbo Frames in Cisco WS-C4500X

Hi Folks,

I am going through a problem with connectivity between our server and NetApp storage.

Server is writing data on storage drive. Common connectivity is normal between these but when application team is storing the data on storage disk it taking much time. As per storage OEM, they have enabled jumbo frames on storage controller.

Expecting your views on following:

1-Dose anyone of you have faced this kind of problem?

2-Does C4500x supports jumbo frames per port?

Hi Ashish,

Regarding the Jumbo frame support it is supported on WS-C4500X ports, and jumbo frame support is only configured per interface; jumbo frame support cannot be configured globally
