Max number of interface per port-channel and zone creation.

Hi Friend,

please suggest on below query.

1) How many ports we can bundle per port-channel in between MDS-9250i and MDS-9710 ?

2) Where we have to configure Zone in core switch where Storage is connected or on FCIP switch ?

Please suggest.

MDS 9700 Series

256 PortChannels with a maximum of 16 members in each port channel

MDS 9250i

40 PortChannels with a maximum of 16 members in each port channel and 8 Ethernet PortChannels with a maximum of 8 members in each Ethernet PortChannels

I would do the zoning on the core switch, and in particular use enhanced zoning for all vsan's
