Hi,
A few minutes ago checking something into our switches I realize that we have two different system versions, what is the "real one"???

When we take care of the service the previous guys said to us that they upgrade the switches but they didn't I'm afraid...
Checking the "show hardware" command we suppose that they "just" upload to the switch the new firmware file but they never upgrade the switch doing the all procedure, I am correct?
If the answer is yes, should we proceed to do the all upgrade procedure??? (maybe this document?: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/storage-networking/mds-9000-nx-os-san-os-software/118952-technote-mds9k-00.html), I am right?
Or what we should do?
Thanks in advance for your help.

According to the output, the switch is running 6.2(13a). The bottom part just shows the previous version when it went down for a reset. We can conclude that in the last reset, the switch was running 5.2(8g).
Also, the switch booted with the following images:
kickstart image file is: bootflash:///m9500-sf2ek9-kickstart-mz.6.2.13a.bin
system image file is: bootflash:///m9500-sf2ek9-mz.6.2.13a.bin
I dont believe there is any issues here based on the output provided.

Hi
This looks good to me as well;
the last reset reason probably came during the Firmware upgrade.
you can track if this is the case: uptime is 149+ days !

Yes, I think that too but I am not completely sure.
So, you think that the 5.2(8g) is just about that "last reset"? Interesting, It could be.
