There are a few zones and zonesets that i have not created, but they still show in the sh run, and they show as active.

When I try to delete those zones or zonesets i get an error "Zone/zoneset not present"

What are these and how you clean them?

Thanks

When you do a are they active zones in your switch.

You could do from command line. this will place the active into this switch and you can then edit the zones on this switch with config.

G'day,

First of all you need to ensure that nothing is using the zoneset that you are about to delete. If you are sure you dont want the zones/zonesets running you can simply deactivate the running zoneset.

/* determine the running zoneset name */

switch# sh zoneset active vsan 100 (or whatever your vsan number is)

/* enter config mode */

switch# config

/* deactivate the running zoneset */

switch(config)# no zoneset activate name my_zoneset vsan 100

Cheers

Andrew

Hi,

What is running the SAN OS version ? Is it a standalone switch ? If there is an ISL connection, are those zones/zonesets configure on the other switch ? Are you using standart or advanced based zonning? If you are using advanced zoning, I would make it standart and see the problem.

Thanks,

Hakan.

As per our conversation, nozoneset is propagated from IVR zoneset activation. You can't remove nozoneset, but

however replace it with local zoneset by activating normal zonesets.
