Hello,

We have a MDS 9509 Switch with software version NX4.1(3a) which is reporting repetitive messages as:

PCIS9509-D1 %DAEMON-3-SYSTEM_MSG: error: channel 0: chan_read_failed for istate 3 - sshd

We know that they are from SSH and we have found similar errors related to an OpenSSH bug.

The system is working OK, but those messages are very annoying.

Anybody knows if there is a solution or workaround to avoid such messages?

I'm answering myself.

This problem will be solved with V5.x. Release date unknown at this moment.

In the mean time a valid workaround to avoid such messages is logging level daemon 2
