The release notes for SN5428 Router Releases 3.3.2 through 3.5.2 all state that "Compaq SecurePath Manager software does not work with
iSCSI and an MSA1000" in the Caveats section.
The release notes for 3.5.3 make no mention whatsoever, not even as a resolved caveat.
What is the current situation? I currently have 3 iSCSI-attached hosts configured with failover via SN5428 cluster (there are 2 SN5428s). We would like to introduce a dual-attached W2K3 server and use SecurePath if it is supported. The back-end array is an MSA1000.
