Hi,
I am trying to reduce the boot time off a CBS350-24T (firmware version 3.0.0.69).
The boot time of the CBS350 is around 30 to 40 seconds longer then its predecessor the SG350-28 (125 seconds while the SG350 boots in approx. 90 seconds). For most use cases the boot time is not a problem as the device is on 24x7. However we have one particular power failure use case in which we require a fast boot time.
I managed to reduce the "out-of-the-box" boot time by 40 seconds by creating and persisting the crypto key that is generated by the switch. However I still need to gain around 20 to 30 seconds to meet the requirements off our application.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Tom did you have any luck reducing the boot time other than by the eprsisting Crypto key thing you did?
PS - can you shed some light on how you made the perstisting crypto key?

no, I did not find another solution.
If I recall correctly then the crypto keys are generated by the switch and made persistent. You can check the boot logging to see if the switch is creating them at startup.
