Hi, I'm a little unclear on how essential Probes are with deploying the Cisco Business Dashboard.
I have a lot of smaller sites (which is why I am using the SG/CBS series), so I am not keen on deploying a Probe VM at each one, which I then need to monitor and maintain. While each site is a separate network, they can all reach each other over a Meraki SD-WAN. All I really care about is the switch firmware updates, lifecycle monitoring and central dashboard. The endpoint monitoring, not so much.
My preference would be to program each switch to send their data to the CBM without needing a Probe VM to do interference. Is it possible to put the CBM info into each switch and populate the server that way? I know there's a page for it in the SG GUI but so far I've only gotten ones at the same site as the CBM to show up in the dashboard.
