Cisco CBS350-48FP-4X: RxWatchdogTimeout: RX packet RX Watchdoch timer

Hi Guys,

I connected three switch groups with a stack of 4, a single switch via CISCO DAC cable 1m and a stack of 2 via Cisco 10GbE SR transceiver in the PortChannel. The stack of 4 has the uplink to the MPLS router. There were no problems with the setup. Since the systems were migrated to the new switch, users have reported that their Cisco phones are rebooting and connections are being lost. What I can see on the switch: The PortChannel sometimes goes offline because the uplinks switch off. This happens with FiberChannel, as well as with DAC cables. If I'm lucky, only one port goes offline and the other port stays online. Port Down and Port Up usually happen in the same second.

I also get this error message every second during the day for several minute:

%HAL_config_main-A-RxWatchdogTimeout: RX packet Watchdog timer timeout. packet did not complete treatment for 120 seconds

Then I have about 2 hours of peace and it starts all over again. The failures are about 2-3 times a day. I've also tried different firmwares. The current version 3.3.0.16 is currently installed.

The WebFrontend always hangs or is very slow. It works somewhat over SSH, but the SSH connection keeps breaking. With the other switches I have no problems other than the ports going down (due to the port down on the 4 stack).

Does somebody has any idea?

The switches have already been restarted. But I'll try turning off the power to the switch and restarting it again.
