Hi!
The said ports are usually used for the Uplinks.
I have same type of question about the miniGB (SFP) ports. Can we add 10 gig module, If yes then what will be the model and media (copper or fiber)? Please guide.11

Hello,
The SG300 series switches have a maximum speed of 1 gigabit per port. The SFP modules are listed in this web page. If you want 10 gigabit modules, you will need to go with a compatible SG500 X series switch.
