Cisco SG500 - no MAC address assigned to port -- no connection

Hi

We have a problem with a Cisco sg500 switch.

Error description:

  • Windows 10 computer connected to port
  • No Mac address is displayed on the port in the Mac address table (In the dynamic area and in the static area of the Mac address table)
    • Filter according to the corresponding port: no entry
    • Filter according to the corresponding MAC address of the client: no entry
  • Computer shows: unidentified network
  • P is assigned via DHCP (runs via the broadcast)
  • Otherwise communication not possible (he only gets broadcasts)
  • If a USB-to-Ethernet adapter is used instead of the internal network card (thus the MAC address changes), then the communication works normally and the switch also learns a MAC address on the corresponding port in the dynamic area.

Can you help me solve this problem?

Can you please share port security details.?

Have you tried to upgrade the switch?

what is the firmware version?

Thanks,
Jitendra

The port security on this port is off. It´s classic lock unlocked. The port security is switched on on other ports (on Secure Permanent (with several MAC addresses) and otherwise on Classic Lock with one device.)

Is it possible that port security is responsible for this?

We haven't tried upgrading the firmware yet. It´s still in the delivery state from 10 years ago... (Firmware Version (Active Image): 1.3.0.62; Boot Version: 1.3.0.03)
