I am using Singtel fibre optical broadband server. I installed a SG200-08 to untag the VLAN to port 2 and connect the port to RV042G WAN 1 port. it works fine with a public IP. Internet access is fine from router LAN ports.
However, I try to ping the RV042G public IP from internet, I could not reach it. Anything I missing in SG200-08 configuration?

Hi,
I don'i think is the switch is blocking the ICMP traffic as it's layer 2 switch, can you please check if the ping on WAN interface from the router is enable --> firewall-->uncheck block WAN ping

Hi Mehdi,
I got ping response once I disable "block WAN request" as said in firewall settings. Thanks.
I then enable PPTP server and the VPN works as well.
Thanks Mehdi,
