Hello Cisco land. My problem, we are about to shut down an old dns server, address 208.xxx.xxx.xxx, but it looks like 600 people are still using it! What is the best command to use so when people try using the old dns (208.xxx.xxx.xxx) they get a response from the newer server (137.xxx.xxx.xxx) Both are attached to the same Cisco 4500x switch. I've attached a diagram of this issue. Thanks for any input.

Im thinking ip forward protocol or ip helper-address

How are the 600 people getting their DNS servers assigned, is it manual or dynamic with DHCP?

They were statically assigned at one time. I'm with an ISP.  When they were converted to DHCP they must have left the DNS address in their CPE equipment or some customers put it in themselves.
