Does buying switch through eBay = no smartnet/cisco support

So I have found the cisco switch models I want to get,(after a lot of help from this subreddit), and I was wondering if I do buy the switch from ebay, will I not be able to get smartnet/cisco support. I am the only tech person for the small office, and I am leaving in 2 months and they wont have anyone else.
 
any help is greatly appreciated.
