I want to put the dot 1 q on trunk... switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

not sure how to do it..i also do not understand the 801x in the switch port security....

can i make it on access port? attached screensshot

- On SF300 dot1q will be default trunk protocol.

What is 802.1x port security?
Should it be allowed on access and trunk ports?
