Dynamic routing in the SG switches stack

Will dynamic routing (RIP) work if I use 4 switches in a stack (2x SG550XG and 2x SG350X)?

orlov,

You can't stack these two series of switches. Only same family of SG switches can be stacked or switches within the same family or subfamily. For example, an SG350X device can be stacked together with an SG350XG device, and an Sx550X device can be stacked with an SG550XG device. The 350 can't be stacked with 550.

There is a native stack deployment with the same series switches like SG550XG-XX and SG550XG-XX and a hybrid stack comprised of SG550XG device and SG550X device.

Thanks

Static routing is supported on 350 series and static routing and RIPv1/v2 are supported on 550 series.

I understand but what if I stack these two series, will I be able to use RIP?

Ah, thanks. I thought that they are compatible for hybrid stacking between families.

That's the tricky part, they are not.
