Hi all facing an issue with Cisco 350 24T 4G switch, unable to add an IP address to a newly created VLAN, losing connection to the switch and need to restart(its a fresh switch with no configuration)
#vlan 10
#int VLAN 10
#ip add <> <>
.......lost connection to the switch

Without any context it is hard to say why it doesn't work. But if you use the console connection to the switch you should be able to completely configure the switch as this connection is not dependant on any IP communication.

Tried on both GUI and SSH

Yes, both depend on IP connectivity. And obviously this change cuts the connectivity. It won't happen on the console. If you show your config and tell us exactly how you access the switch (from which IP to which IP on which port) it also could help to spot the problem.

Port No-1(tried other ports also)
Computer ip :192.168.1.20/24
Tried both both ssh and gui on 192.168.1.254

I can confirm that it happen in both the gui and the console.
I have CBS350-12-XT, and when connected to vlan 1 from a laptop, trying to add an ip in another vlan than 1, lets says it is vlan 100, added a ip in there on both the gui or in the console (ssh)
then connection to the switch instanly dies, and the switch need to have the powercord detach and attached again... and all in all YOU cant have the ip changed and you cant add more ip address for completely dif vlans, this is a stupid product.
im on firmware 3.3.16.
