How to define the VLANs allowed on a trunk link

We have 2 SG300-10p switches (switch 1 layer2 -> VLAN1 10.1.30.2) & (switch 2 layer3-> VLAN 5 -10.1.80.12 & VLAN1 - 10.1.30.5), where switch 1 is connected to another switch with VLAN1 - 10.1.30.6 & switch 2 is connected to switch 1 via trunk port. switch 1 can ping to other hosts that are on vlan 5 accross network but cannot ping to switch 2 VLAN5 IP & hosts but can ping VLAN1 IP on switch 2 & hosts. switch 2 can ping switch 2,VLAN1 10.1.30.6 & VLAN5 - 10.1.80.12 but cannot ping other VLAN accross the network. Would like to know the configuration that needs to be done for same to work accross.

Philip,

I draw your topology and I will ask you to confirm if I am missing something. As a suggestion, we can work on a remote session and take a look to the configuration that you have in that way we can provide a better solution.

See the attachment.

We need to check the gateway established on the VLAN configuration, make sure that InterVLAN router is properly setup.
