inter vlan between different subnet mask sg300

i am stuck with a situation my network are as follows: i have different vlans set on my switch which is working great within the same subnet mask 255.255.255.128 but i now have new connection that i have create the vlan for that has a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 and inter vlan is not working to communicate with the 255.255.255.128 vlans.

current vlans working with intervlan and communicating with each other subnet mask 255.255.255.128 :

10.10.10.0 /25

10.10.10.128 /25

10.10.11.0 /25

10.10.12.0 /25

10.10.13.0 /25

10.10.14.0 /25

new vlan on 10.140.240.0 /24 inter vlan not working  subnet mask 255.255.255.0, not communicating with the above vlans

As a test have you tried giving the 10.140.240.0 a /25 mask to see if that will work? If it still doesn't then it is not the mask but something else.
