Passing multicast between two SG200 switches

Units:  SG200-18 and SG200-8

 

VLAN400

 

  • Receiver is on SG200-8 and Source is on SG200-18
  • SG200-18 Port18 is set up as a trunk port with VLAN400
  • SG200-8 Port1 is set up as a trunk port with VLAN400
  • IPTV reciever is on SG200-8 Port2 also VLAN400.
  • IPTV source is on SG200-18 Port16 also VLAN400.

I had setup IGMP snooping on both switches but receiver does not get broadcast.  If I plug the receiver directly into the SG200-18 Port 18 things seem to work.  So, I must have the configuration setup incorrectly.  Can someone point out what the basic configuration is that I should be starting with so as to be able to pass the multicast traffic between the the two switches.

Do you already have the last version of firmware on both units? If so please contact tech support and open a new case because further testing needs to be process in order to determine what is happening.
