Schedule Backup Config

Hello there,

Having not found an answer in the forum, I post a new topic here.

I am trying to set up an automatic backup of the configuration of cisco switches (model SGE2000P mainly SGE2010P, SG50052P & 28).

I found a solution which consists in setting up a automated backup via "Kron". However, this only applies to materials IOS, right?

Thank you in advance for your help,

best regards,

Thomas Zimmer

Hi Thomas, I have never done it myself, but CCA is supposed to have this feature to schedule automatic backups of these switches: http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=281010085&softwareid=281161599&release=3.2(3)&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest&i=rm

I had previously use Cisco ON100 appliance to do this, but Cisco discounted the product.

The only other way I can think of would be to write a script that would telnet or ssh into the switch send backup to tftp server and schedule the script to run via cron or similar as you said.
