SF100 Won't Connect

I recently purchased a SF 100D  5 port switch, that is frustrating me.  I currently have a New dell PC connected through a wall jack to an existing router, and wanted to add an ethernet printer.  When I connect everything to the switch, I can only get a link light on the printer (Not the PC or router).  I did connect to the router with a tempory cable across the room, and did get a link light, but it will not work through the wall jack, which the PC does connect to the existing router through the wall jack.  Also, I cannot get the PC to connect to the SF100, I tried using the same cable, that did work on the printer.

Any Suggestions?

Hi Brian,

Thank you for posting. You may need to change the Speed and/or Duplex setting on the PCs NIC. This is very rare for an unmanaged switch but I have seen issues with some NIC settings. Sometimes simply changing the NIC to default settings allows it to connect.
