Hello

i have purchased sf300-48p and start its configuration very well but i face a problem so you can help me in this one

i have created 3 vlan

vlan 1 default   interface ip  192.168.1.254 /24 

vlan 16   interface ip  172.16.16.16 /24

vlan 23   interface ip  172.120.23.1 /24

when i connect a pc in vlan 23 and another one in valn 16 and start ping  i found that pc in vlan 23 can ping the pc in vlan 16 but pc in vlan 16 can't ping the one in vlan 23

can any one support me in that top urgent with commands

Thank you for contacting Cisco support.

My apologies for the inconvenience. Looking at your results, I can see that inter-vlan traffic is being forwarded properly as the pings from the PC on vlan 23 to the PC on vlan 16 are being replied. Please reply to the following questions so that we can further isolate the problem:

-Have you tried to disable the firewall of the PC on Vlan 23
-Can you ping other devices on vlan 23 from vlan 16?
-What is the firmware version running on the switch?
-Would it be possible to obtain a packet capture from the port where the PC of vlan 23 is connected using the Port and Vlan Mirroring feature of the switch? It would be interesting to see if the switch is forwarding the traffic out the PC.
