SF300 don´t display hostname on CDP

Please, anyone nows why I can see only device ID instead of hostname with the command sh cdp neig on SF300?

because it is by default that you are seeing MAC address as "device id" in cdp/lldp. for having hostname in output instead, you have to enter following command:

switch(config)#cdp device-id format hostname

on switch you wanted to change this advertising.
