Any chance of getting firmware version indicated in the snmp sysDescr object?

Currently the switch reports: "8-port 10/100 PoE Managed Switch"

Would be great to get something more like:

"Cisco IOS Software, IES Software (IES-LANBASEK9-M), Version 12.2(58)SE2, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)..Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport..Copyright (c) 1986-2011 by Cisco Systems, Inc...Compiled Thu 21-Jul-11 00:59 by prod_rel_team"

Had a chat with the switch  product manager, and the feature request is now in, as a low priority request.  But at least it's in..

You were correct, the feature that you want seems to be standard now on traditional Cisco product, but wasn't part of the initial MRD for the 300/500 series switches.
