Hi,
I've a network with 28 computers and 2 servers. Each server have a double Gbit port configured in Load Balancing & Fail Over.
Now, I want to buy two Cisco's Switch SG 200-26 and I would know the best way to connect them and if it's possible to interconnect them with more than one cable to share the trafic.
1. Is this following solution a good one (does the link between swhitches will work when computers will access to servers) ?
2. Is this next solution possible ?
3. And finally, what is the best one?
Many thanks for your help,
David

David,
It will be option number 2 - servers are considered as edge devices and depending on what protocol the servers is will need to be plugged directly into the SG-200 switch.
Hope this helps,

Hi Jasbryan,
thanks for this very quick answer!
So, I understand I will have to connect server 1 to switch 1 and server 2 to switch 2 (or 1).
But, is there a limitation or a recommendation for the number of cable connection between switches?
Is one connection give 1Gbit/s, two cable => 2Gbit, etc. ?
Thanks again,
David

I add I don't need and want VLAN here.
I just want to know if I can share traffic with many cables for data between my 2 switches.
Thanks,
David
