Hello,
i got a SG 300-52 with firmwareversion 1.0.0.2.
I want to read the interfaces statistics via snmp. I configured snmp as usual but get no data. If I try a snmpwalk the connection is refused.
The config under SNMP / Communities is:
SNMP Management Station: All
Community String: public
Basic is selected
Access mode: read only
I talked with the cisco hotline but they got no ideas why this dosen't work.
Any ideas?
The second problem is to save the config via tftp. I got a tftp server that work very well (I can save the config from other cisco devices).
The connection is made and the file is created but with no conntent. It's an empty file.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Andreas.

Hello,
one problem is solved.
You have to enable snmp in the menu security tcp/upd.
The tftp problem is still open.

Hi Andreas,
You made me go and check snmp on my SG300 and had no difficulty; Even captured a MIB walk below.
regards Dave.

Hello Dave,
What Network Management System are you using on your screen?
Best regards.

Hi,
I think the SNMP sub-agent and MIB file need to re-installed, see if this works.
Are you using any one of these MIB Browsers Mg-soft, HP Overview, iReasoning.
Thanks,
Phanikrishna
