SG 500-28P Bootcode update problems

I try to update the bootcode on SG500-28P.

Out of the Box runs the Bootcode 1.3.0.03 on it. (FW 1.3.0.59)

So i try to update the bootcode (1.3.0.03 -> 1.3.5.06 -> 1.4.0.02) so i can update the FW too.

I copy the bootcode  (copy boot tftp://....1.3.5.06.rfb) -> "Copy N trap: The copy operation was completed successfully".

In the next step i save the config and reboot.

After the reboot the bootcode update dont start.

So our switch bootcode is actually 1.3.0.03.

Is there any other procedure??

You need to first upgrade the switch firmware to 1.3.5 or 1.3.7.  Then you can install the new boot loader and continue.  It also appears you can go straight to latest boot loader sx500_boot-14002.rfb after you get to 1.3.5 or 1.3.7.

so I proceeded.
The Cisco Support could not help me, unfortunately, and not solve the problem.
We will replace the unit.
Thus, the case settled

The command "copy boot tftp://...1.3.5.06.rfb" is incorrect, just FYI. That copies the existing boot code on the device TO your TFTP server. You never updated anything. Syntax is copy <source> <dest>.

I read about it -> tftp: // <source> boot
with the same result. Again, a successful transmission is indicated.
Unfortunately without success.
