SG300-28 IPv4 Static routes

I've looked at the demo manual (Demo script nijkola 300-series v6 ) to configure two different ports on two different VLAN and make them availables, but I can't get it work.

I kindly ask how static routes work, because I got the same config as in the demo manual, but still can't

ping from the PCs connected.

2)What means route type Local, and remote? Why if I add a new route it goes to remote?

3)The gateway ip configured on the PCs must be the Switch ip, to connect to the internet where can I configure the real gateway for those PCs?

4)Adding a new static route with destination Ip (PC2)  netmask 255.255.255.0 and next hop (PC1) still can't ping.

I'm not a pro, please give some advices, thanks
