I have a new SG300-52 Switch Serial Number DNI180701Q0. The current firmware version is 1.3.0.62
I see that the most current firmware version is 1.4.5.02; I understand not to make just one jump in firmware.
Would you please provide a recommended sequence of steps for firmware update?
Thanks.

Thank you.
Your guidance, "update firmware step by step" was very clear. The switch has been fully updated to current standard.
Your colleague Gonzalo Guillen also brought great value to the table with a video regarding firmware upgrade.

My thanks to you both!

If you would be so kind, I would appreciate some clarification.
I have updated the firmware on the SG300 before, but I have never updated the boot code, such as that which accompanies the v1.3.5 firmware. I understand the update sequence as you have outlined above, but at what stage of that sequence should the boot code be updated? If I understand correctly, the 1.3.5 firmware should be uploaded first. Should that be made active and the switch rebooted before, or after the boot code is uploaded to the switch?
I don't know, what I don't know. Please advise.
Cheers!
EDIT: I believe that I've found my answer. It seems that the boot code needs to be updated first. Thanks anyway.
